  • 1 pkg Hatfield® Extra Thick Cut Cherrywood Smoked Bacon, chopped
  • 3 cups gnocchi
  • Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ tsp garlic, minced
  • 1 sprig fresh sage, chopped
  • 1 bag baby spinach
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • In skillet, over medium high heat, cook chopped bacon until crispy. Drain and set aside.
  • In a pot, cook gnocchi in boiling water for 2 minutes or until pasta floats to the top. Remove gnocchi and set aside.
  • In the same skillet over medium heat, sauté garlic until it begins to brown. Once browned, add spinach and cook until it wilts.
  • Remove spinach and garlic and pat dry.
  • In a pot, add heavy cream, salt, pepper, and sage leaves. Bring to a simmer and slowly whisk in gorgonzola to thicken.
  • Once thick and hot, add bacon, spinach, and gnocchi. Sprinkle with fresh sage and bacon.
