  • 1 lb Hatfield® Recipe Essentials™ Country Ground Sausage
  • 2 pie shells
  • ¼ cup onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced
  • 10 oz spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 cup light cream
  • ¼ tsp salt

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • In a medium skillet, cook sausage until brown, using a spoon to break up. Add onions and garlic. Stirring occasionally, drain well.
  • Cook spinach. Drain well. Remove remaining moisture by pressing between layers of paper towels. Add spinach to sausage mixture and combine. Sprinkle cheddar cheese evenly on the bottom of the pie shell. Top with sausage mixture.
  • Whisk together eggs, cream, and salt in a medium bowl. Mix well.
  • Pour egg mixture over sausage.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
