  • 1 pack Hatfield® Recipe Essentials Hot
  • Italian Ground Sausage
  • 4 flatbreads (or naan breads)
  • 4 oz mascarpone cheese
  • 1 small jar pizza sauce
  • 1 green pepper, julienned
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • In a sauté pan over medium high heat, cook sausage, stirring and breaking up with a spoon. Cook sausage until browned, about 10 minutes. Place in a bowl and set aside.
  • In the same pan, sauté peppers and onions until soft, about 8 minutes.
  • Arrange the flatbreads on a baking sheet. Top each with 2 Tbsp mascarpone. Add pizza sauce, sausage, peppers, and onions. Cover with mozzarella.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until cheese is thoroughly melted and golden brown.
