  • 1 lb Hatfield® Recipe Essentials™ Ground Pork
  • ¼ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced
  • 1 small red onion, half minced, half sliced for burgers
  • ¾ cup BBQ sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 rolls
  • Oil to brush on the grill
  • Preheat grill to medium high heat.
  • In a medium bowl, combine pork, cheddar cheese, garlic, minced onion, BBQ sauce, salt and pepper. Mix gently with fork, be careful not to overwork as this will make the burgers dense.
  • Form into 4 patties. With thumb, make a ½-inch deep indentation in center of patty.
  • Brush grill grates with oil.
  • Season burgers with salt and pepper. Grill until cooked through, 4-8 minutes per side.
  • Serve on roll with sliced onion and favorite toppings.
