Ribs, Roasts, And Loins

Thai Style Chili Loin Filet

Seasoned with a dry rub of chili pepper and cumin, this Thai-style pork loin filet adds a kick to any mealtime. 

Ingredients

Coating Ingredients: Sugar, Spices (including Chili Pepper, Cumin, Ginger), Salt, Modified Corn Starch, Autolyzed Yeast Extract, Garlic Powder, Dehydrated Garlic, Onion Powder, Dehydrated Cilantro, Citric Acid, Dehydrated Parsley, Natural Flavors.

Solution Ingredients: Water, less than 2% Potassium Lactate, Vinegar, Sodium Phosphate, Salt, Flavoring.

Cooking instructions

Oven
  • Pre-heat oven to 375°F.
  • Place loin filet in shallow roasting pan lined with foil.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes.
  • Take off top layer of foil and continue to bake for 5-10 minutes (internal temperature in the thickest part of the filet should be 160°F).
  • Take out of the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Grill
  • Pre-heat grill for 10 minutes on medium high heat.
  • Place loin filet on center of grill.
  • Cover and grill 20-25 minutes or until juices are clear (internal temperature in the thickest part of the filet should be 160°F).
  • Take off grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Skillet
  • Cut filet into 1-inch thick medallions.
  • Flatten each medallion to ¾-inch thickness.
  • Heat a small amount of oil or butter in large nonstick skillet over medium high heat.
  • Cook medallions 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally, until evenly browned on both sides and center is no longer pink or an internal temperature of 160°F has been reached.
