Pennsylvania Dutch Rope Sausage

Juicy Pennsylvania Dutch Rope Sausage.

Ingredients

Pork, Salt, Corn Syrup, Water, Dextrose, Sugar, Flavoring, Spices.

Cooking instructions

Skillet
  • Place sausage in skillet.
  • Add 1 inch of water and heat to a boil.
  • Cover and cook over low heat for 15 minutes or until juices run clear.
  • Pour out water.
  • Cook over medium high heat for 2 minutes or until an internal temperature of 160°F is reached.
Microwave
  • Cut sausage into ½-inch chunks.
  • Place sausage pieces into microwave-safe casserole dish. Microwave on high for 2 minutes.
  • Stir.
  • Microwave 2 minutes.
  • Stir.
  • Microwave 1 or 2 minutes until juices run clear or until an internal temperature of 160°F is reached.
