1. How do I submit my resume or application for employment?

You may submit your application and resume electronically, via the website or email link you are referred to on our How to Apply page. You may also print out an application and mail it to the address given on the How to Apply page.

If you submit your application or resume online, you will receive an automated response letting you know that we have received your information. Hatfield will contact you only if you are selected for an interview.

5. If there is an opening, what shift might I be hired for?

We may have openings on any given shift. Our shifts typically run with first shift going from 5:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., second shift from 4:00 p.m. – 1:30 a.m., and third shift going from 9:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. These are generalized times only. The start time typically remains the same, however, shift-ending time will vary depending on the workload and what time the work is completed. The typical workweek averages around 45 hours per week.

6. In what areas do you typically have openings?

Employment opportunities are constantly opening and changing within the company, but typically there are openings in areas such as meat cutters, machine operators, and maintenance mechanics.

7. What will my starting rate be?

Your rate of pay will be based on the qualifications, education, and experience that you bring to the position. As mentioned in the Benefits section, Hatfield provides our employees a comprehensive compensation program that enables us to retain dedicated employees as well as attract new talent.
