Published: 2008-12-1

Members of the Clemens family along with Hatfield Quality Meats have had a busy Holiday Season. In a longstanding tradition, the Clemens family and Hatfield employees have done a lot to Share the Goodness with local families over this Christmas Season. All told, 590 hams, over 3,000 pounds of product and 328 toys were donated, along with three Christmas dinners served in local shelters… a very busy season!

Over 40 members of the Clemens Family purchased 590 hams that were donated to families through local organizations such as North Penn Women’s Center, Laurel house, Three Springs Ministry, Generations in Souderton and Manna on Main Street. Family members also participated in two Salvation Army Shelter dinners in Norristown and Allentown, as well as served a dinner at a Rescue Mission in Philadelphia. Hatfield Quality Meats donated the food for these dinners. Employees of Hatfield Quality Meats donated 328 toys that were delivered to the Lehigh Valley Toys for Tots organization. In addition, Hatfield donated over 3,000 pounds of products to Philabundance, the food bank in Philadelphia.
